We accept cash or check payment as well as VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Payment for your dental treatment is due at the time service is rendered. You are fully responsible for all fees charged regardless of your insurance coverage. We understand that some patients require special payment terms. If your treatment requires several appointments, we usually can divide your treatment fee over the anticipated number of required appointments. Alternative financial arrangements can be discussed at your initial consultation appointment or prior to actual treatment. Your dental insurance plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer or private insurer. We operate a “fee for service” dental practice meaning you will be fully responsible for all fees charged by our office regardless of your insurance coverage. Although we are not a provider on any insurance plan, your insurance carrier may reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined based on the contract between your employer and the insurance company (or you and your insurance company if you are privately insured). The higher the premium paid by you and/or your company, the more generous the reimbursement. We encourage you to contact your insurance carrier prior to treatment if you are concerned about the level of reimbursement they will be providing. Our office can also file a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company prior to commencing treatment.
As a courtesy, we want to help our patients with dental insurance receive the maximum reimbursement to which they are entitled. Please bring your current insurance information (preferably an insurance card) with you to your appointment. Our front desk personnel, who are very knowledgeable regarding insurance related matters, will process your insurance claim(s) on your behalf. We will also gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance company have any inquiries about the treatment provided.
